Claves para la Gestión del Voluntariado en Entidades no Lucrativas (ENL).

 Esta publicación pretende ser una herramienta específica, de carácter práctico y accesible, para la gestión del voluntariado en las ONG. Este Cuaderno de gestión aporta, por una parte, un marco teórico para sustentar la participación de las personas voluntarias en las ENL. Por otro, ofrece una serie de herramientas prácticas que pueden ser de utilidad práctica para una mejor gestión del voluntariado.
Esta publicación ha sido cofinanciada por el Ministerio de Educación, Política Social y Deporte.
Los objetivos principales de esta Guía son:
- Dotar de una visión global e integrada a la organización sobre la función y el sentido del voluntariado en la misma.
- Analizar las diferentes etapas de incorporación y participación del voluntariado en las organizaciones
- Gestionar y atender adecuadamente a la persona voluntaria en función de su momento en la vinculación con la organización.
- Diseñar y planificar la gestión del voluntariado adecuándola a la realidad de cada organización.
- Dotar de instrumentos y herramientas a los responsables o coordinadores de voluntariado en la gestión de personas y los equipos de voluntariado.

I Encuentro de Asociaciones de Jóvenes Líderes.
Reconstruir Guatemala.
El encuentro tendrá lugar el 27 de noviembre de 9:00 a 12:30 en el Hotel Villa Española. Salón la Coruña, ubicado en la calle 7-51, zona 9.
 La red de Jóvenes Lideres de Guatemala, Jóvenes en Red, en el marco del Año Internacional de la Juventud (promovido por la ONU), ha organizado para el próximo 27 de noviembre un encuentro titulado "Reconstruir Guatemala".
Entre los ponentes, contarán con la presentación de la Dra. Mina de Arcila, quien tratará los conflictos que a veces surgen entre las políticas nacionales e internacionales y los derechos fundamentales de los jóvenes.
Jóvenes en Red ha invitado para el desarrollo de esta actividad a distintas asociaciones de jóvenes de Guatemala para debatir en torno a tres temas: Seguridad, defensa de los derechos fundamentales y pobreza. El objetivo del encuentro es dar a conocer a las demás asociaciones existentes en el país las iniciativas en favor de los temas que se tratarán en el encuentro.

WYA participed in an European Forum the last october 7th in Strasbourg.Conscientious Objection in Lawful Medical CareThe World Youth Alliance is a global coalition of young people dedicated to promoting the dignity of the human person in policy and culture and to building solidarity between young people of developing and developed nations. With approximately one million members from more than 160 countries, the World Youth Alliance is one of the biggest coalitions of young people worldwide.  The World Youth Alliance participated this week in the plenary session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, with a special focus on the Report by Mrs. McCafferty on the conscientious objection of healthcare providers. After a long debate over the Report and its proposed amendments, the World Youth Alliance welcomes the final product, which truly respects the fundamental human right of freedom of conscience for healthcare providers and the religious freedom and independence of healthcare institutions.
The new Resolution adopted by the Parliamentary Assembly recognizes the right of conscientious objection, protects conscientious objectors from discrimination and guarantees the provision of necessary healthcare. It respects the dignity of the person in terms of freedom of conscience, but also respects the dignity of the person in terms of access to healthcare. You can find the provisional resolution adopted by the PACE on the website of the PACE. The democratic debate which happened today in the Assembly and in the press, thanks to the mobilization of several civil society representatives and individuals, shows that the Council of Europe institutions are able to uphold the principles enshrined in the European Convention on Human Rights adopted 60 years ago this year. “This vote shows that Europeans are still attached to the core ideas of the European project, namely fundamental rights like the right to conscientious objection,” stated Marie-Caroline Leroux, Director of WYA Europe. www.wya.net |

Offered to provide in-depth training to young leaders, this online training program requires an intensive commitment on behalf of the member. Training is a prerequisite for international internships and United Nations conference participation and is the gateway to further understanding of the principles of WYA and a deeper involvement with the organization. Accredited members build the Alliance by introducing and training other young people to the WYA foundational ideas. And you don't have to be living in New York or working at the United Nations to influence your local community as a young person! The training will cover four major sections:
Philosophy of the human person International documents and institutions Key issues at the international level (global health, development, Millennium Development Goals) Movements and individuals who have shaped history The goals of the online training program are to help members understand and anyalze today's most pressing issues from the perspective of human dignity, freedom, and solidarity; to promote and defend policies centered on the dignity of the human person at international and national levels; and to foster a culture of life in all activities and actions of our members.
